Introduction
Java and Database Software Engineer in the Engineering Department (EN), Alignment, Coordination & Engineering Group (ACE), Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM) Section.

This is a challenging role to supply efficient information systems to our maintenance teams and ensure the proper functioning of both the campus infrastructure as well as the whole accelerator complex. This requires configuration, customization and development of both mobile and desktop applications matching the expressed user needs.

CERN has a large-scale asset management platform based on Infor EAM that currently manages information for nearly two million individually traced pieces of equipment and several million maintenance interventions. This platform is today a strategic hub for asset management at CERN and is intensively used 24/7 all days of the year.

You will join the team of software engineers and maintenance experts providing tools, methodology and support on a CERN-wide basis and will become a key person in this young and dynamic team. Your colleagues in the AMM section of the ACE group are engineers and IT professionals working on different modules and aspects of the provided service and with whom you will frequently interact.
