Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer at Alektum Group we expect you to be able to make significant contributions as a developer in a team of highly qualified full stack developers. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, but will typically include:

- Analyze and refine business requirements, such as transaction load/performance requirements
- Drive and prototype suitable architecture, API’s and process flow
- Database modelling and implementation, back-end development in C# (and over time other languages)
- Cloud first deployments including serverless configurations
- Testing and deployment mechanics (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps)
- 3rd line expert support and maintenance

Your Background

We expect your competence to be T shaped from minimum 6 years of qualified experience and expertise in developing business-critical applications. For the current opening we are in particular looking for knowledge and expertise in

- Database modelling, MongoDB or equivalent
- .net and C#
- Development of Microservice Architectures
- Transaction/Streaming based frameworks, such as Kafka, Active MQ etc.
- Cloud - AWS or Azure - and associated tools

- Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English is needed

The Team

Our team, IT Development, currently consists of 8 developers, responsible for full stack development of our Internal IT systems. We work agile with joint responsibility not only for new development, but also for maintenance and 3rd line expert support. We adhere to DevOps principles. As individuals we are all very different of course but are all very engaged in how to drive value with software in our highly competitive FinTech business. We like and take time to explore new technologies and we also understand the importance of camaraderie and sound worklife balance.
