BSS Platform is mobilizing for the future. Do you want to join our team? We are searching for a Junior Software Developer to join one of our development teams.

We use #cloud native technologies and tools to develop our #5G products on a #container-based #micro-service architecture. To be able to utilize #cloud technology and build a product with cloud-native attributes. We are looking for a Cloud Native developer with interest for platform development.

We rely on team collective responsibility to finish the tasks according to a prioritized backlog. Our teams are -functional, self-organizing and highly independent. You’ll be working as a team with, and the contact areas will be your Team Lead, Product Owner, Architects and stakeholders in a collaborative manner. This requires maturity and a ‘team first’ approach, which we believe is the best way to create great software.

Tech you’ll master

With us at Ericsson Platform you’ll be part of the next step in our development of our products. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. All of this in a containerized world. For this you will learn to master cutting edge technology in distributed real time embedded systems.

The functions we develop are called BAM (BSS Application Manager). Future deployment is carried out on containers in a cloud environment.

You will be part of one of our development teams where you jointly plan the work and share tasks and knowledge. You will also be working in close cooperation with your Team lead and e.g. System Architects and Product Owners, making requirements come to life, You will also influence future development in the area. Some of the challenges are maintaining focus on code, commits, communicate and be active in studies needed to drive the area towards the product vision.

What you will do

• You will be one developer in the software development area
• Work together with your Team Lead, System Managers and Architects realizing the customer new demands.
• Be a member and contributor in the software developer’s community.
• Work with open source, and contribute to a better IT society.

You will bring

• You are a curious person with a well-rounded view that likes to work with challenging tasks where decisions often need to be taken based on information from different stakeholders and investigations.
• You enjoy working at the forefront with new technologies and understand that business decisions sometimes impact the technical solution.
• You manage to drive your work with help from Team Lead
• A teammate with a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills.
• You are interested in learning NEW things and dare to come up with own ideas on how to do things.
• You are very interested in understanding coding, new coding methods and languages.
• Completed BSc or higher education in a technical field related to Computer Science.
• No Minimum years of working experience.
• Experience in Go, Java, Kubernetes, docker or Python.
