Experienced Network Engineer

We are currently recruiting for the position of Network Engineer in our company. This role is a consultant role, which means the person hired may be assigned to work with other clients.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including switching, routing, and VPN configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewall rulesets, NAT, security zones, and VPNs.
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of Atos global network concepts, such as ASN, ACN, BPC, etc.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of load balancers.
• Configure and manage firewall settings at L2/L3 level.
• Hands-on experience with NTP, DNS, and DHCP configurations.
• Resolve technical incidents at L1/L2/L3 levels with a minimum of 4-6 years of live experience.
• Familiarity with remote access solutions and the ability to provide support.
• Competency in network security, encryption, and authentication services at L2 level.
• Thorough understanding of WAN, LAN, and network architecture.
• Proficient in defining and implementing different network zones and IP schemas.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written and oral).
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems for customers.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, including customer or data center LANs.
• Knowledge of network automation tools.
• Experience with VOIP systems, such as Issable or Elastix, and Cisco VoIP.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems, including SolarWinds, PRTG, and Zabbix.
• Proficiency in managing website tools, such as WHM, WHMCS, Cpanel, SEO, and Google Analytics.
• Experience with virtual desktop solutions like TSplus, VMware Horizon, and Terminal Server.
• Familiarity with backup solutions, including Acronis, Veeam Backup, and Freenas.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware vCenter, ESXi, and Hyper-V.
• Expertise in firewall systems like Cyberoam, PfSense, and Kerio Control.
• Familiarity with Exchange Server.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of professional experience.
• Competency in patching and vulnerability management and governance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions to uncommon issues.
• Knowledge and experience in container virtualization technologies.
• Ability to improve performance measurement and reporting processes.
• Experience in identifying and resolving risks related to managed services.
• Proficiency in process and service management across different locations and multi-sourced environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Office toolset (PowerApps, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with programming languages as Python, Java and C#
