Job description

The Crew Implementation department is responsible for the customization and delivery of our Crew management products to airline customers and to make sure that we deliver solutions that our customers truly need. You will be part of a skilled team of developers that value diversity and learn from each other.

As a Software Customization Engineer you will work as a programmer closely to our clients and customize the application to their business environment. We are looking for a developer with strong communication skills, both inside a team and towards clients, who can explain decisions and technical solutions in a pedagogical and confident way. The successful candidate is good at dealing with technical challenges and programing tasks as well as handling client expectations and building long-term customer relations. Your tasks will include; understanding the client?s needs, capturing requirements, customize the software, tuning the optimizer, verifying quality and testing.

For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the Airline business and that you see yourself contributing in workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering process.

You will be based in Göteborg and be expected to travel to our customers from time to time as part of the job.

Background and Experience:
- Programing experience, preferable in Python or Java. It is also desirable to have broad technical competence within IT, architecture and software development
- Experience from customer interaction and requirement gathering
- Consider quality and test as a natural part of software development
- Experience of working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setups
- Familiar with Linux environment and shell scripting
- Fluency in English and preferably other languages
- MSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent

Personal:
- Strong analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills both within and outside of your team
- An interest for technology as well as human relations
- Enthusiastic and positive
