System developer for Air Traffic Management Tower Systems

Your role

Team Responsibilities:

* Product development

* Requirements gathering and system design

* Implementation, analysis, design and troubleshooting

* Verification and documentation

We work agilely through all steps and have the opportunity to verify functions in simulators to quality-assure the work and the flight safety-critical system.

Your profile

You have college/university education with a focus on software development and a few years of work experience. An extra plus is if you also do some programming in your spare time and find it easy to learn new things.

Experience in construction/implementation/maintenance of complex technical systems

Ability to find alternative solutions to a problem

C/C++/C# development in a Windows environment

Experience with 3D modelling and related software, such as Unity3D and Blender

Experience with geospatial data and related software, such as QGIS
*

Write portable code for both Windows and Linux environments
*

Experience with complex software systems using agile development methods
*

Domain knowledge within Air Traffic Management, air traffic control is a plus

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

ATM Tower Systems TS is a unit within Saab that develops world-leading air traffic management systems. The systems are used to conduct airport operations and manage air traffic as efficiently and safely as possible at everything from the smallest to the largest airports in the world.
