Senior IT Architect

The SAP IT Solution team has the broad responsibility for creating and securing the architectural vision. This responsibility includes functions, plotting the architectural roadmap towards the vision and ensuring that the vision is closely aligned with the GFIT strategy. The position we offer

Our unit is to provide our Business Partners with high performing, compliant and efficient IT services to accommodate current and future needs within the SAP domain. The unit vision is very connected to the SAP vision since SAP is a standard and needs to follow the SAP LCM plan when it comes to new releases.

?You will be responsible securing an understanding of the important factors for Business and IT within own area, and their impact on the architecture. Furthermore you will:

- analyse stakeholder requirements, current state architecture, and gaps to create architecture roadmaps that support the business area strategy
- deliver according to quality-, Nordea standards and timeliness to effectively execute agreed objectives
- drive the maintenance of the As is overview of the application and infrastructure IT landscape within own area to lower risk in future development
- proactively guide, implement and govern architectural principles, best practices and common change initiatives in own area to secure high quality in IT solutions.

You are responsible for your domain or solution so it is up to you to takes decisions on application point of view after a peer review from your co-worker. You will be given the freedom to shape your own roll, to be independent and have great opportunities for personal development.

The qualifications you need

To be successful in this role we believe you have a deep technical knowledge and extensive experience from SAP environments. You have experience working across the IT development lifecycle over multiple platforms and operating systems, including both batch and real-time systems. You keep yourself updated about the latest trends within the world of architecture and you proactively suggest ways to improve our ways of working.

- You preferably have an academic background in engineering, information systems or equivalent
- You have a minimum of three years relevant professional experience
- Experience from designing and implementing high quality SAP solutions/landscapes
- Experience of coaching and supporting project teams with technical questions
- Knowledge of AIX/Linux, IBM DB2, IBM Infosphere, SAS, Mainframe, Windows Server, SAP HANA would be considered a strong advantage
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
