Job Description:

Devoteam GCloud is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our onsite team in Stockholm. Our team values continuous learning, embracing new technologies, and driving innovation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent. A Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
• At least 4 years of industry experience in backend development, preferably in the Gaming, Rail, Technology, or Transport sectors.
• Proficiency in various programming languages such as C/C++, C, Java, Python, JS/TS, and Go.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with various frameworks including Spring Boot, FastAPI, REST, GraphQL, and .Net.
• Experience with infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, RabbitMQ, and Eureka.
• Familiarity with various cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with development tools such as JIRA, Trello, Sentry, Git, GitHub Action.
• Familiarity with Agile, TDD, Architecture, CI/CD practices.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or similar certification would be a plus.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend infrastructures for various projects.
• Ensure smooth operation of systems, identify and resolve issues, and continuously improve system performance and functionality.
• Contribute to the implementation of game engines and provide ongoing support to ensure their functionality.
• Extend and maintain backend services on the cloud, integrating OAuth and a payment system to enable secure and efficient transactions.
• Extend and maintain launcher systems to improve user experience and ensure compatibility with game engines.
• Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders to meet project goals and deadlines.

Previous Project Experience

• Experience working on transport industry projects that involve the development of complex systems that analyze data and identify critical error patterns is essential.

• Experience on projects that automate customer licenses as part of a Managed Service Providers Command Center is preferred.

• Experience in developing user-generated content platforms that enable players to design, develop and play their own games is a plus.
