Assignment Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Embedded Software Test Engineer, along with the skills of Linux, to join our team in Gothenburg. As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for manual testing and verification of embedded software, with a focus on automotive applications. Experience with test automation is also highly desirable.

What you'll do:

· Conduct manual testing and verification of embedded software, following established testing methodologies and procedures.

. Patching, compiling and securing along with troubleshooting Linux servers in some heterogeneous environments.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

· Execute test cases, analyze test results, and report defects using designated defect tracking tools.

· Work closely with software developers and architects to understand software requirements and design efficient test scenarios.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as AUTOSAR and ISO 26262.

· Familiarity with distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture in automotive applications.

· Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.

· Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.

· Develop and maintain test scripts and test automation frameworks.

· Conduct performance testing, security testing, and other specialized testing as required.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and participate in system-level testing.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in embedded software testing and automotive technologies.

Who you are:

· Previous experience with linux, manual testing and verification of embedded software, preferably in the automotive industry.

· Strong knowledge of SystemWeaver and its application in embedded software testing.

· Proficient in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.

· Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

· Awareness of AUTOSAR standards and ISO 26262 requirements.

· Familiarity with CANoe and CANalyzer tools.

· Ability to read and understand C and C++ code.

· Understanding of Ethernet protocols, including TCP/IP.
