For our RCS Division in Stockholm, we are currently looking to recruit a SW Developer, Test Automation!

Purpose of the job
We are looking for a passionate and motivated C++ developer to strengthen our team of Tools development. The Tools team provides the simulation software for the safety-critical systems managing the On-board equipment.
Are you an advanced C++ developer comfortable using technologies like C++11, networking, multi-threading, OOP Patterns in mixed Windows/Linux environments? Do you like to be at the intersection of technologies between the embedded engineering world and a PC environment? Are you ready to work in a constantly evolving Agile environment?
The Onboard Test Environment is a train and track simulator used for simulating the surroundings of the On-board signalling system and consists of many simulators. The simulator is developed in C++ using Visual Studio and Eclipse.
The Automated Test Environment interprets test scripts, interacts and controls simulators, e.g. the On-board Test Environment, presents the test result and resets the environment. It is used for Continues Integration and is developed in C# using Visual Studio and .NET.

Key responsibilities:
To maintain and develop the new features in the simulation environment for embedded safety-critical software.
Collaborate with colleagues located both on site as well as remotely (mainly Germany and Thailand but not limited to that).
Write Release Notes and necessary software documentation.
Apply the appropriate Software Engineering standards, processes, procedures and tools to support the generation of software.

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
Relevant previous experience (2 to 5 years would be preferable).
Advanced knowledge of C++ and OOP in C++
Understanding of basic algorithms and data structures
Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP) and multi-threading
Good knowledge of Linux and gcc/make environment is highly desirable
Basic understanding of C# (Visual Studio and .NET is an advantage).
Fluent English language knowledge.
Previous experience working with tools, simulators and automated testing are highly valued.
Experience from a relevant industry, ERTMS or safety-critical systems is considered a plus.
Previous experience working in a multinational environment is preferable.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, strategic and problem-solving skills.
Self-driven, proactive person.
