Front End JavaScript Developer to APSIS in Malmö

Job summary:

We are currently expanding the front-end team at our headquarters (just next to Malmö Central Station) with an experienced developer who can combine the art of design with the art of programming. The main responsibility will be to create functional and beautiful components from UI and UX specifications provided by our designers. As a part of that responsibility you will often act as an advisor to our designers, bridging the gap between the design and the technical implementation.

You will also help our less Javascript focused developers implement and understand the components that you and the front-end team have created.

Qualifications:

We are looking to hire an experienced developer and our ideal candidate has several years of experience in:

- JavaScript. We write all our JS with ES6 syntax and transpile it with Babel.
- Angular. We are currently using Angular 1.4+ in our application, but we keep a close eye on development of Angular 2.0 and are looking to migrate once a feasible migration path exists.
- CSS (with Stylus). Our pre-processor of choice is Stylus, but general knowledge of CSS is more important than a specific pre-processing syntax.

Tech we use:

We try to use tech that makes us productive and stays out of our way. Here?s a list of buzzwords that we use besides the list above.

- Gulp
- Git
- SystemJS with JSPM
- ESLint
- TDD
- Karma with Jasmine
- Selenium and Protractor
- Yo
- Kanban
- SVG

If you have experience in any of the above that will definitely be an advantage, but more important is that you are willing to learn the ones you do not yet know.
