Within the area of Technical Infrastructure we are now looking for a Product Specialist in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You will be part of a highly trusted global team of specialists in the Linux area. You will manage our Linux environments globally on premise and in the Cloud. We are involved in projects and working groups for new platforms and deliveries. Today we maintain over four thousand systems with the latest technology from Red Hat and the number is growing steadily.

Some of your responsibilities will be:
-Responsible for securing that your product(s) can be used in the current and future Infrastructure and application landscape in accordance with SLA, architecture, security demands, rules & policies.
-Take responsibility for ensuring that life cycle management of infrastructure services is planned and executed in all environments.
-Responsible for communicating the LCM plans, Strategic directions and roadmap to stakeholders and making sure all required product documentation is in place.
-Working with Application Management and areas within Infrastructure to determine the highest level of system requirements needed to support the IT Service within budget and technology constraints. Be responsible for and follow-up on license costs.
-Maintain knowledge about how systems are related and ensuring that dependencies are understood and managed correctly in the total delivery of the service.

Is this the right challenge for you? To be successful in this role you have to have:
-Deep knowledge in Enterprise Linux environments preferably Red Hat with a minimum of 3 years working experience in an enterprise environment.
-Deep knowledge in managing large complex Linux environments with preferably Red Hat Satellite 6.
-Deep knowledge in scripting.
-Good knowledge in Cloud Deliveries and how to manage them.
-Good knowledge in Red Hat Cloudforms and/or Red Hat Openshift or equivalent managing software.
-Knowledge and skills in project management, release management, requirement management, test and business acceptance.

You will need to take initiatives, interact with stakeholders and consumers, lead activities, be structured and understand and follow the ITIL based processes. You need to have the ability to identify, clearly describe and propose improvements. As a person you are a service minded and creative problem solver with the ability to co-operate with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels as well with external vendors. You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both spoken and written.
