Interaction Designer

Working as a UX Interaction Designer as part of a larger UX team you will be responsible for producing the final design product for desktop and mobile web applications.

You are truly passionate about taking ideas, research insights and business needs and creating flows and wireframes to gain further insight from our users. You work in a great partnership with our visual designers to translate your wireframes into simple, beautiful and effective designs across different platforms which resonate strongly with our users.

SKILLS
Expert understanding of usability and user experience principles
Ability to synthesise user data and research to create user flows, wireframes, information architecture and interface mockups
An aptitude for translating and documenting design ideas into solid visuals that can be shared with all parts of the business
Passion for creativity and an openness to new design ideas
Ability to work closely with engineering, product management, user research and visual design teams in order to design experiences that are technologically feasible and meet the business and user needs
Ability to be hands on with user research of various types together with the user researchers, such as conducting various lean experiments and user interviews together with team to prove/reject product ideas
A passion for bridging technology, design and user research to ensure that the end experience is best for our user.
Ability to organize and put structure into a constantly changing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EXPERIENCE
3+ years of interaction and design experience
Experience designing on both desktop and mobile platforms
Expert understanding of interaction and visual design principles
Experience with design software and tools such as Adobe suite, Sketch, Axure, Invision etc
Some fluency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
