Software Engineer (Backend: C# / .NET) - Stix

Qliro is all about safe and simple payments. We are a payment provider who loves to help customers purchase online without even thinking about the payment part. We are also a dedicated payment partner to our merchants who serve customers every day. Since our start in 2014 we’ve grown into becoming one of the most loved payment providers in the Nordics, working with some of the largest e-commerce companies to provide safe and simple payments.

We are now looking for a Software Engineer to STIX - our platform for credit and fraud checks. The STIX team’s mission is to secure Qliro Payments using state-of-the-art credit checks and fraud detection whilst maintaining a seamless customer experience in a way that enables Qliro’s growth targets.

STIX is a backend heavy team that is responsible for the credit engine, integration with credit information providers, fraud detection and the fraud user interface for our fraud officers. We are part of the transactional payment path and have high demands in terms of up time and response times.

Current focus for the team:

Handle 10,000s of credit and fraud checks every day

Leveraging a containerized Microservices architectures with daily deploys to production

C#, .NET, AWS, Docker + Swarm, Microservices, Event Driven Architecture, RabbitMQ, Terraform, GitLab, MS SQL Server, DynamoDB, Redis, OpenTelemetry + New Relic, Kibana

What we are looking for in our new team member:

‍💻You are highly experienced in C# .NET and have touched the majority of tools in the rest of the stack

You have practical experience from working with agile engineering methods combined with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices

️ It is a plus if you have worked with cloud technologies

It is a plus if you have experience working on a team with full responsibility for your software platform, including monitoring, infrastructure, CICD, and operating production.

You have an understanding of system design, data structures, API development
