Nova is looking for a senior developer to become a key player in its new product organisation. Nova - a Scandinavian talent network - is undergoing a transformation into a product based organisation. We build web products and mobile apps that facilitate personal/professional development and collaboration between top talent across the world.
As a senior developer you will:
Develop Nova’s products, using a cutting-edge technology stack.
Help shape the future of Nova’s technology platform and grow with the team.
Work in a small team of world-class software engineers.
Required skills:
At least 5 years of development experience.
Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
Experience with functional programming.
Experience building scalable systems with large numbers of users.
Experience working in an Agile team, using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovative consumer products.
Bonus:
Degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
Experience from tech startups.
Experience with Clojure, Scala, Haskell, F#, or other functional languages.
Experience with event sourcing and NoSQL.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS)
Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
Devops/Sysadmin skills.
Active in open source projects.
