QA Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Betsson is now looking for a driven QA Developer to join our Frontend development team in our Stockholm office. We’re looking for someone who appreciate quality and want to make a difference, who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and most importantly – someone who constantly strives to become even better at what they do!

In this role, you’ll focus on ensuring that the team delivers the cleanest possible product, preventing bugs from ever making it to production! The aim is to go beyond simple quality control and adopting a real quality assurance mindset instead, ensuring that the team is building the right things, in the right way, with unit test and test automation as a natural part of development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementing and maintaining high quality automated tests during software development which will prevent bugs from ever making it to production.
• Increase our test coverage and ensure proper cross browser testing.
• Working as part of a Scrum team following developments from conception to release.
• Collaborating with QA Lead and other QAs, contributing to improving strategies & methods of the Test Automation processes that the team uses.
• Focusing particularly on testing our customer facing sites (web and mobile).
• Supporting your team with your QA specialist competence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Several years of experience in a similar role, working on web based systems.
• Experience in building automated tests based on the end-to-end test framework (preferably Protractor).
• Good knowledge of any script languages such as JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience in agile methodologies.
• Fluency in English is a must, speaking Swedish too is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and develop on different technologies.
• You are efficient and work fast and know your way around.
• You thrive in a fast paced environment, working with a great mix of personalities and cultures.
