QA Engineer, Android

Opera Software seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Android team in Göteborg, Sweden. Our small team of dedicated, experienced designers and engineers is responsible for developing browsers that are currently in the hands of more than 100 million active Android users worldwide.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of mobile platforms and web technologies, as well as good programming and analytic skills. You will cooperate closely with developers to ensure that we continue to release products of great quality.

Responsibilities

* Report relevant bugs during daily ad-hoc testing on device.
* Maintain a good overall understanding of the product to identify regression scopes and find weaknesses in a solution quickly.
* Organize and prioritize testing within a limited amount of time to ensure maximum quality.
* Create test cases (both manual and scripted) for new and existing features.

Requirements

* B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Fluency in English and good communication skills
* Solid knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS and HTTP
* Experience with quality assurance and software or product testing
* Great multitasking skills
