Com Hem is continuing to invest in IT and are now looking for a skilled Java developer for a leading position in their billing team!

The role
The main focus in this role is reengineering, build new code, implementing changes and improvements to the existing code. You will receive requirements from the group and the stake holders, work with problem solving, design, and you will also have the opportunity to participate to design and develop new solutions.

The team consists mainly of PL-SQL developers hence the need to expand the team with one skilled Java developer to cover more technical ground. In this role you will work with change, development of new services as well as APIs and integrations.

Your experience and your skills

For this position we require that you have at least 5 years of experience as a Java developer. You have solid understanding of large, complex and transaction-intensive systems. You are also used to working with new technologies and has experience in TDD and Continuous deployment.

Technical profile need to have:

• Good knowledge of Java 7/8, Spring, JAX-RS, Maven, Tomcat

• Good knowledge of test automation

• Good knowledge of test-driven development

Technical profile, nice to have:

• Experience in PL-SQL

• Experience of Jenkins and Puppet

• Knowledge and awareness about frontend; JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, Shallow

• Knowledge and experience with Oracle

• Industry Experience from Telecom

Since you in this position have a leading role in Java and many contact surfaces, it is important that you have excellent communication skills and is a person who enjoys working in a team and involve people.

If you don’t speak Swedish fluently it must be your ambition to be fluent in Swedish within a year since most oral communication at Com Hem is in Swedish.
