Manager Business Analysis Team

Nasdaq Global Market Operations is looking for an experienced manager with knowledge of trading and/or clearing of financial derivatives to head up a newly formed team focused on test strategy, requirements and ensuring operational readiness for new business functionality as well as an existing team of senior business analysts. This is a unique opportunity to be in the center of the development of Nasdaq Nordic derivatives markets, products, trading, clearing and technology.

Located in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, our spacious and open plan factory-style campus houses 700 of Nasdaq's IT talent across many areas such as engineering, architects, development, infrastructures and testers.

About the team, role and responsibilities:

You will be responsible and accountable for managing and developing our business analyst and business verification teams, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise.

- Driving sustainable improvements to performance through managing teams and organizational performance and takes accountability for the performance and results of related teams and disciplines.
- Execute business analysis activities, including analysis of application enhancements, processes, tools and related operating models.
- Establish working relationships and routinely interfacing with project sponsors, business stakeholders, Technology, Subject Matter Experts and other internal/external clients.
- Motivate, develop, recruit and retain employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

- Hands-on experience with financial services operations or technology.
- Extensive experience in Derivative Operations.
- Experience Required: 10+ years of relevant work experience as a Manager and/or Business Analyst.
- Management experience leading projects, business analysis activities and teams, including people and performance management, and project governance.
- Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
