You will primarily work with Genium INET: our state of the art trading solution used to power markets in the Nordics as well as several other big markets around the world, for example Singapore Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Ltd.

About the team, role and responsibilities:

You will be an integral part of a team of Architects responsible for the technical roadmap as well as serving as solution architects in customer projects and technical pre-sales. We develop using continuous integration/delivery tools with execution of both unit tests and auto tests, so that we get fast feedback when something is broken.

- You will work with the development organization to support the implementation of roadmap and customer solutions.
- You will design and develop advanced technology solutions that enhance performance, capacity and modularity of our systems so that we can efficiently meet our clients? needs.
- You will apply best practices to address changing development, technology and business requirements.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

- University degree in computer science, programming or engineering physics.
- At least 10 years of work experience as an architect or developer of distributed systems.
- Deep knowledge in distributed system architecture and object oriented design and patterns.
- Experience from high performance persistence technologies.
- Experience in transaction intensive systems, ideally from financial systems.
- Experience in high performance messaging frameworks.
- Experience from optimizing performance and scalability.
- Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
