Shared Services will enable project success by delivering excellent integration and test services, develop and deliver solutions for IT infrastructure and integration. Shared Services will also manage projects within Operations & Shared Services and provide services for IKEA Multichannel. We also provide expertise in information security and risk management.

The TestCenter within Shared Services supports more than 300 different IT services and projects at IKEA with test competence, test services and tools. We are now looking for an experienced Performance Test Specialist to join our great test team!

As a Performance Test Specialist you will deliver performance test to business solutions and projects. This could be early benchmark tests or full scale performance test as final verification before the service is put into production to the end users.
You will plan, design, develop scripts, execute and report on full scale performance tests. The goal of the service is to verify the non-functional requirements prior to launch in Production and provide input to the Capacity Management process. You will also provide test coaching and support to secure common and efficient ways of working with performance test and related tools. You will provide specific test consultation and advice to releases and projects, such as support in software design, risk workshops and review of non-functional requirements. In this position you will also be working with gathering and sharing best practices within IKEA and continuous improvement of the offered services within TestCenter.

The tools mainly used at IKEA are HP Performance Center, HP UFT and HP ALM. It is a requirement that you have experience working with HP Performance Center (Load runner). You should have good knowledge of some of the programming languages and techniques, like C, C++, and C #, Java, VB Script and SQL. We would also like you to have knowledge of the different infrastructure components, for example Windows, UNIX, Linux, network and databases. We want you to have a strong technical interest and enjoy exploring new technologies. If you also have some projects on your spare time involving programming etc. we would love to hear you tell us about it!

Apart from your technical skills, we want you to be service minded, structured and driven with an ability to connect and build trustful relationships with people both internally and externally of IKEA. You should have an analytical mind, and being able to see and communicate risks, trends and findings in a comprehensive way, even for people who are not as technically skilled as you. We want you to take leadership in further developing the service, with the consumer and customer need in focus.

You will be part of a team with a lot of energy with high service mind-set always looking for improvements to support the growing and future IKEA. Placement is in Helsingborg, Älmhult, Dortmund or Wallau.
