The position
The position as a Database Expert provides you the opportunity to become a guru of databases in the company's R & D department of system management for the company's various product teams. You will work closely with system managers and product architects; maintaining, developing and improving the use of data storage for the various products. The focus will be on leading the transition to newer NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB as well as work with the latest technology, all deployment is done in Linux. Furthermore product development, mainly performance and scalability, the technical environment is transaction-intensive and several products are state-of-art where the company leads the development. The position involves a lot of freedom and the possibility of taking the expert role within the company.

Their customers include mobile operators, banks and automakers around the world. The company has 10 000 employees with headquarter in Munich, development center in Stockholm, Lijleholmen consists of around 120 employees of which over 70 are working on R & D. The development department consists of skilled, competent employees and the work environment is collaborative and international.

Profile
You have a university degree in the data or similiar and at least five years experience as DBA preferably in Orace databases and at least some experience in NoSQL databases. Furthermore, you have deep technical experience in design, development and optimizing of databases. As a person you are open and cooperative, a problem solver, a fast learner and pragmatic. Experience in telecommunication is merit. You are fluent in English both verbal and written.
