Talented Java Developer to Aphelion

For our team in Stockholm we are looking for a Java developer with an interest in calculations and algorithms. In this role you will be a part of a cutting-edge development team and contribute to the best FX platform on the market. Our customers are large banks and financial institutions who rely on us to develop their most business-critical FX software.

You are given the freedom to design your own solutions and to be creative. Desired qualifications:

You have couple of years’ experience from development using Java
Experience of working with risk management systems
Very good language skills in Swedish and/or English.
Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent, preferably with expertise in mathematics and algorithms

It’s also beneficial with experience from:

Databases, Postgres and Hibernate
Git
OSGi, SWT, Eclipse

Any experience from these technologies and platforms is an advantage as well as experience from working with trading systems, banking and finance. We are especially interested in experience from Agile Methods and Test driven development as well as mathematical skills and calculations of complex code.
