Academic Work is, on behalf of Mycronic, looking for two Test Engineers. You will be part of a small team where there are good opportunities for further development and taking on new roles within your area of interest. You will report to the Manager Engineering Physics R & D. The role as a tester involves a few trips to suppliers and customers where these voyages are spread over a year. The position is located at Mycronic’s Global Headquarters in Täby.

The position is a recruitment which means that the recruitment process is done by Academic Work, but you will be employed directly by Mycronic.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Test Engineer you will participate in a project to develop the new Jetprinter. The work mainly involves various test configurations of Mycronic’s Jetprinter as well as involvement in the analysis of the results. From your conclusion, you will suggest the next step in the testing and the development of the product. The programming will mainly be done in Matlab.

You do not need to have experience for working within this specific area, as the first week at Mycronic will focus on working methods and equipment learning and training. The test-project will start with a handover of the previous tests as well as general information about the test equipment. Thereafter, the tests will be done independently according to plan, but you will always work in pairs with a test colleague. Furthermore, you will have a mentor who supports you in your daily work.

* Have a Bachelor’s degree or M.Sc of Science within relevant area

* Are technically minded and have good programming practice and experience
* Can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, spoken as well in written, due to the daily use of the languages in the work.

Knowledge and previous experience of working in Matlab is qualifying.

As a Test Engineer, we see that you are precise and understand the importance of working methodically and structured with the testing to be able to make a good analysis. You take responsibility for your own work and completes the tasks you begin. You enjoy finding out how things work and are motivated by problem solving. Furthermore, we see that you are curious and engaged in your work and make suggestions to improve the testing process. You also have the ability to work with others, as a large part of the job is to work in a group with other colleagues.
