Are you Scania IT's new ARS/Remedy developer?

We are looking for an ARS developer to help maintain and develop one of Scania's largest proprietary workflow systems in order to meet future challenges. The system supports the deviation process for Scania's products and, with its 11,000 or so users, is one of our largest managed services.

As an ARS developer with us, you will be part of the FRAS (Follow-up Report Administration System) team, which supports the Product Follow Up process at Scania. The Product Follow Up process is part of the Product Development process at R&D. The FRAS application follows up on product quality for Scania's products and is one of the largest global applications.

The team is highly skilled and committed, with considerable job satisfaction. The position offers good opportunities for personal development. We are constantly striving to improve both system and work processes.

Your role
As an ARS/Remedy developer with us, you will work in an agile development team in close cooperation with the business at large, but you will also have many contacts within Scania IT. You will work on continuous system improvements in order to streamline processes and help users.
.ARS development in one of Scania's largest global applications
.ARS support (Incident Management and Problem Management)
.ARS architecture, design, requirements management and testing within the department
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience. You will either have several years' experience working with system development, or be a recent graduate with a significant interest in IT, and in learning several programming languages and tools. We consider below experiences to be a merit: .Knowledge and prior experience of ARS/Remedy development and expertise in application management and an application's life cycle
.The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify and improve
.Experience of agile development
.Ability to create good customer and supplier contacts
.Knowledge and experience of working with any other programming language such as C, JavaScript and SQL script
.Knowledge and experience of requirements gathering and preparation of technical designs, as you will be working close to the customer.
We expect applicants to be curious, have excellent problem-solving skills and to have a genuine interest in architecture/design (i.e. FRAS). To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. You are a team player, but are also capable of working independently. As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.

As a Scania employee, you in addition to personal and professional development opportunities, are offered benefits such as company car, mutual bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, Scania.
