Configuration Manager to Aphelion

To our team in Stockholm we are now looking for a Configuration Manager. In this role you will be responsible for establishing and further develop CM-practices in the system of the FX-platform. The most important thing for you as a CM at Aphelion is good understanding of CM-work, a good sense of order and to have a structured approach. We believe that you see the big picture while you have an eye for detail and you want to contribute and further develop Aphelion’s business and its continued success.

The assignment includes:

Managing our various internal and external environments
Patches and releases and ensure that these are installed and communicated to the relevant teams
Improving and maintaining the scripts, tools and routines
Keeping track of changes in the system or project
Creating order, control and traceability in the life cycle of the software
Be a mentor to other employees in the area of CM

Desired qualifications:

A relevant academic degree in IT or equivalent work experience
Understanding of parallel development and the complexities it involves is a plus
At least two years of experience in configuration management and/or change control management
Experience of working in agile teams and from setting up routines, order and structure
Knowledge of Ant scripting and CM-tools such as Java, IDE (e.g. Eclipse) Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Maven and/or Gradle would be an asset
Very good language skills in Swedish and English
Experience in financial operations and/or developing strategies for CM-work
