LSV System Tester (113614)

Position Summary

We at LSV System Test work with verification of non-functional requirements of EPG (Evolved Packet Gateway), meaning system capacity and characteristics, robustness and stability, as well as installation and replacement. We take pride in that we have automated most of the test execution and parts of the analysis of test results, since this enables fast feedback loops to our cross-functional development teams.

We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated System Tester who loves troubleshooting complex problems.

The role

We have two test teams in our unit, one team at a consultancy firm and three teams in Shanghai. All six teams work according to lean and agile principles together with our Product Owners. This means a high degree of autonomy in each team, but also a high degree of cross-site collaboration. This approach requires a huge amount of teamwork and maturity and is not right for everyone, but we believe it?s the best way to create great team spirit while managing a large test scope.

As LSV System Tester you will be responsible for planning, executing and analyzing system test cases according to the prioritized backlog. At the moment, our automatic test execution and verdict system covers more than 275 test cases and 1000 checkpoints. Although we are proud of this, we believe strongly in continuous improvements and strive to reduce failures of test executions and to improve accuracy and intelligence in the verdict system. We also recognize that competence is key to being a successful tester and troubleshooter. Therefore we set aside dedicated time for both improvements and competence development.

Qualifications

Core competencies

To understand our product it is essential to know IP protocols and IP-based routing in an embedded environment, 3GPP standards, and UNIX/LINUX
To be an excellent tester you need to understand System Test Methodology and Test Automation
To understand our test scripts and verdict system, you need to know Python or other script languages

Minimum Experience Requirements

MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
