We?re currently building a new innovation product Poptype and we want more people with awesome personality and skills to join our team!

Poptype helps you write, send, and measure engaging stories by empowering your readers and we?re now looking for an experienced frontend developer who is passionate about building products with cutting edge web technologies.

How would you work?

We offer a workplace where you will be working in a tight team with 5 developers, one designer and two co-product owners. You will join the team working with our new innovation product Poptype but you will be a big part of the awesome Mynewsdesk culture.

The team uses Kanban methodology, encourages pair programming, supports remote work but most of the time we are at the office for a tighter and faster feedback loop.

Even though we have separate products and teams at Mynewsdesk we share our knowledge and interests in cross-team sessions, internal conferences and lunch presentations. We love to learn and that?s why we have regular lab days, dev corners, run a makerspace, host and attend developer conferences.

Our stack

- Single Page Application with React, Bootstrap, Sass for frontend
- Karma, Mocha, Chai for JavaScript testing
- Service Oriented Architecture with Ruby on Rails for backend
- MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, databases
- Heroku as hosting provider
- Cloudinary for content delivery network
- Semaphore for continuous integration

- Trello, Slack and Screenhero for communication
- Sketch, InVision for design and user experience exploration
- Code Climate for code quality
- New Relic, Rollbar, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Gnip for system and user monitoring and analytics
