Development Project Manager / Projektledare

Nasdaq Technology is now looking for a Development Project Manager to join the Project Management Office in Stockholm. You will sit in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, in our spacious and open plan factory-style campus, which houses 700 of Nasdaq?s IT talent across many departments including engineering, architecture, development and testers.

About the team, role and responsibilities:

As Development Project Manager you will be part of an international department that serves customers and delivers trading platforms to market places across the globe. In collaboration with various departments you?ll play a significant part in the delivery of software development of varying sizes to new and existing customers.

- Lead the Genium INET software development projects for Nasdaq?s top tier exchange customers.
- Overall responsibility for the software development projects and deliveries to customers from the planning stage to delivery.
- Plan, lead and follow-up the test activities.
- Project budget responsibility and follow-up.
- Work in tight collaboration with other development departments within Nasdaq in addition to product management and sales and account management.
- Manage customer expectations and develop customer relationships.
- Take an active part together with the PMO team in improving our deliveries, supporting tools and processes.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

- Education Required: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science.
- Experience Required: total of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years in a project lead role with proven experience driving development projects from start to finish.
- Special Qualifications: Thorough knowledge and experience in Java and Linux/Unix.
- Previous experience of financial systems or other data intensive systems.
- Excellent communication skills ? both English and Swedish, written and verbal.
- Previous hands-on experience in testing or development is highly meritous.
