Swedbank IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.

To meet the future, we need to strengthen our competence with a skilled Data Warehouse –designer. We are looking for someone to be part of our development projects in Sweden and have the opportunity to build competence both for the Swedish Data Warehouse and the new Group Data Warehouse.

Assignment specification

Our key role is to deliver IT development and maintenance services of systems owned by Group Finance, Risk and Treasury in a flexible, cost-effective and high-quality manner. Currently we are building a new platform for a common multi-currency General Ledger and a common Financial Data Warehouse within Swedbank Group.  

As a designer you are an important part our development projects, you are responsible to create the best possible system solution based on the project and Swedbank's objectives. You make the visualization of project architecture and design for governance and estimation processes and integration of new system and system components in our current legacy environment. You support the Project Manager in the dialogue with our customers and project team. You will be engaged in projects from different business areas where Data Warehouse plays an important role. Preparation of documentation, estimation of development costs and to make technical presentations of solutions for customers, community members and stakeholders is also your everyday challenge.

This job will give you an opportunity to work with colleagues in Sweden, Baltics and offshore teams in India and to develop a deeper knowledge about Teradata and the FBI-solution, one of our Divisions main drivers for the future.  You will be a key player in many of our projects and work close to the Business

Your experience in roles as architect/designer/developer is long and knowledge from databases and development in SQL is a requirement. Knowledge in Data modelling is an advantage. You have knowledge in Powercenter , MicroStrategy, and have experience of application development in C#, Java 2 SE and HTML. You also have good theoretical experience in the IT architecture field and you have experience from different project methodologies, for example agile.

University degree within IT You have experience from financial sector Experience in Teradata and/or Oracle Several years’ experience of working as ETL developer and/or lead Master English in speech and writing
