We’re looking for an experienced QA Developer who appreciate quality and who constantly strives to learn something new!You’ll be focusing on ensuring that our backend team delivers the cleanest possible product and preventing bugs from ever making it to production.
The aim is to go beyond simple quality control and adopting a real quality assurance mindset instead, ensuring that the team is building the right things, in the right way, with unit test and test automation as a natural part of development.
The Platform team consists of 60 dedicated developers, QAs and product owners in 3 locations and 8 scrum teams. This position will be based in Stockholm, but will also be working closely with our teams in Budapest and Malta so some travelling is included.
Responsibilities
- Drive QA in the team helping out with design, what to automate, push for unit testing and testability
- Hands on test work as test plans, perform manual testing, creating automated checks, reporting
- Being the go-to person for the team in regards to anything QADrive the development of quality in own projects and common projects
- Design of test cases
- Drive test automation both on low (TDD) and high (System Test) level
- Select the right tool for the situation
- Identify what needs to be automated and to what extent
- Execute tests on all levels, from feature test to continuous integration
- Analyze and report the test result
- Create and maintain test environment and test data
- Create and perform integration tests, between both modules and systems
- Conduct system test
Requirements
- Experience working as a tester / QA in an Agile environment
- Some programing knowledge, preferably .NET, C#
- Knowledge of requirement work like BDD
- Experience of test automation
- Experience of defining test frameworks
- Experience of databases, preferably SQL and document databases like Couchbase
- A diplomatic yet persuasive team player
