One of our customer is hunting for a Application technician to set architecture together with Technical Architect and see to that in common front end platform there is a Capacity and stability plan of the deliveries,operations surveillance to handle the operational parts, SLA and OLA of the deliveries. Data Warehouse is a very exciting and challenging area since the platforms are very important. Technically it is quite complex with a mix of different operating systems, applications/systems and hardware.

Proactive work against SSAS/SSIS/SSRS, Sql, QV and SAS
knowledge and proactive work in Windows environment setup & tuning Maintenance according to system documentation
Participate in implementation of new common frontend platform
environment setup & tuning
knowledge and proactive work in Win environment setup tuning & Maintenance according to system documentation
knowledge and proactive work in product and win environment, setup & tuning
Lead Performance work in platform.
Participate in
Availability mgmt process (e.g. failover, proactive/ optimizing work)

Continuously improve the application operation tasks
Competence
Required:
Operation surveillance experience of business critical systems in an enterprise (complex and distributed) environment with high availability requirements
Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008
SQL knowledge
ITIL knowledge
Incident handling
Desired:
· Qlik knowledge and/or SAS knowledge
· Windows specialist
Qualifying:
Nagios, SCOM.Power shell, Linux
Tool competence
· SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
· Nagios
· HP Service manager
