UX Designer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

You will be reporting to the Head of Product and working with our talented Product Management and Engineering team. You must be a fast learner who understands and values the importance of collaboration, and can distill highly complex issues into easy-to-understand design requirements. The successful candidate will apply expert design skills to user workflows, usability, and app interactions. The role requires a thorough understanding of interaction design principles and best practices, along with an understanding of how visual and interaction design work together to create a world-class user experience.

Your responsibilities:
- employ user-centric design practices to create world-class user experiences
- define, develop, and document all front-end design requirements for projects 
- develop detailed wireframes, user flows, mockups, and other product deliverables to effectively communicate designs and product requirements
- work with cross-functional teams (product management, marketing, engineering, QA, Sales etc.) on front-end projects
- design (with PM and QA team) user assessment and user interview methods for assessing user experience
- work seamlessly and iteratively with the engineering and marketing team to develop and maintain UX standards across all product experiences

Your skills and experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience as a lead user experience designer.
- additional experience as an interaction designer, user interface designer, or similar role along with experience in consumer-facing, media authoring and responsive cross platform (mobile, web, desktop)  is a plus. 
- knowledge of 3D technologies (either design or real time) is an advantage.
- proficiency with contemporary web design approaches and cloud based apps, strong familiarity with Adobe creative suite, user interface design and diagramming software
- experience designing interactions for websites, mobile, desktop and apps
- able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.
- excellent problem-solving ability with a strong sense of curiosity
- a strong portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience and relevant, user-centered designs

Degree in Interaction Design or related field is a plus.
