We have multiple opportunities for experienced sales engineers to join the expanding Behaviosec Team with office locations in Stockholm, Germany, London and New York with international travel an integral part of the role.

You are a results-oriented team performer, with the motivation and skill to drive the technical pre-sales process.

Desirable skills for these positions

We don’t expect ‘jack of all trades’ but these are the kinds of skills your peers will have

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant pre-sales or in-house technical experience.
  • The ability to assess current environments including integration and/or cross platform needs/
  • Superior communication skills ranging from white board dialoguing, to presenting demos and leading projects.
  • Experience with database admin and configuration – SQL ( at least one of Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Experience with AppServer administration and configuration – Java EE ( at least one of Glassfish, JBoss, etc.)
  • A creative approach to solution selling.
  • A strong understanding of application development and workflow processes
  • Superior relationship-building and technical skills which allow you to exceed your team’s sales objectives.
  • You have a demonstrated record of achievement in application software sales or consulting.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
  • Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Able to travel throughout sales territory to visit potential clients
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
  • Offering after-sales support services
  • Preparing reports for head office
  • Recording and maintaining client contact data
  • Co-ordinating sales projects
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Solving client problems
  • Helping in the design of custom-made products
  • Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
