For our customer we are looking for a Hadoop developer. Please go through the JD and let us know if it fits in your expertise and experience.
Job Description:
Consultant will participate in development and governance of ETL/ELT workflows in a bank's Hadoop environment. This includes development of ingestion procedures from known data sources into Hadoop. Furthermore consultant will participate in implementation of transformation process of data in Hadoop. Consultant will also be involved defining and implementing governance processes.
Consultant must have previous experience from Hadoop related techniques and standards. It is required that consultant has experience from implementation of data workflows in Hadoop and their governance. Required skills are MapReduce, Hive, Impala, Sqoop and SQL. It is positive if consultant has previous experience from ETL development in either SAS DI or IBM DS.
