Job Summary
The RECA Core & Cloud team in Sweden is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to strengthen our current team.
You will work within the areas of Telecom and IT Cloud solutions towards our regional customers. Knowledge of these areas, solid understanding of Data Center and infrastructure transformation as well as general mobile and fixed core technologies, will be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Scope, define & design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
- Act in both Pre-Sales & Delivery phases of a customer engagement as Solution Responsible driving the program to fulfill the technical targets, with vision of the future trends and creativity
- Leading the solution analysis, solution design (and where required) leading technical teams
- Engage at customer C-Level during opportunity and Pre-Sales Phase, to align offerings and proposals with their network evolution strategy of our customers
- Support the Fulfillment Responsible with customer questions and provide an excellent view on the governance and scope of the system integration project
- Support the Account and Engagement practices to prepare RFI, RFP, and RFQ documentation
- Conduct Network Audits for customer networks and propose competitive, future proof network evolution solutions that will secure customer satisfaction
- Share and transfer knowledge, presenting to others on audit findings, solutions and new releases
- Provide and drive solutions, covering several domains and layers in the customer network
- Sell competitive products/services solutions through a consultative approach, focusing on customer needs

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Experience from technical roles focusing on integration is a required experience for this role, e.g. experience from work as Integration engineer.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning. Strong presentation, executive client management and business development skills.
- Understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multiprocessor designs (SMP)
- Knowledge different cloud platforms and XaaS technologies
- Have knowledge of storage solutions including object, block and file implementation
- Have a deep IP networking knowledge and broad experience in IPv4 and IPv6 and understands very well the Concepts of OSPF, Nating, VPN, etc.
- Experience with modern hypervisor stacks and management such as VMware or KVM
- Strong practical Unix or Linux systems administration skills is a plus
- Understanding of modern IT production data center and Internet (ISP/ASP) hosting operations
- Extensive IT experience with previous pre-sales experience and experience working in the Cloud
- Experience in selling and delivering services for complex IP or Core systems in customer environments
- Provide evidence of a broad knowledge and experience of Telecommunication and/or IT networks, from service and application layer to backbone
- Hold a degree in Engineering/ICT as a minimum (or equivalent)
