Technical Integrations Manager (software integrator, Internet communications)

Greenbyte is looking for a skilled and thorough Technical Integrations Manager (TIM). As TIM, you will meet varying and fun challenges related to customer deployment and software/systems integration. The communication aspect is concerned with real-time digital communications over the Internet between our cloud services and our customer’s renewable energy assets, e.g. wind and solar power SCADA systems.

Your domain of expertise involves TCP/IP, IPSEC, SQL, FTP, HTTP, DNS, SSH and various other digital communication protocols. In your work you will be working closely with both the development team as well as our Customer Success Managers to ensure that the digital communication aspects of our services are of the highest quality.

You have thorough experience with networking and the Internet protocol suite and feel comfortable manipulating route tables and configuring IPSEC tunnels. You know your way around a Linux terminal and prefer clean shells to cluttered GUIs. You also enjoy the feeling of well running systems where the bits and bytes are flowing smooth and in perfect harmony.

As TIM you must have/are

• Enjoy learning new things and working with new technology
• Experience in networking, routing and common network protocols
• Experience with Linux and Windows network stack and protocols
• Experience with SQL databases
• Systematic and autonomous (manage your own time)
• Independent, forward, thorough and get things done
• Analytical skills with the ability to find solutions for operational problems
• Ability to assess and learn new problem domains

As TIM it would be an extra plus if you also have/are

• Experience in server administration
• Experience with cloud services
• Experience in domain specific protocols such as various OPC-flavors and the IEC61400-25 standard.
• Programming skills
• Cisco certified
• Interest in renewable energy
• Excellent written communication skills with perfect grammar and spelling
