System Analyst with development skills for Scania IT

Industrial Control IT within Scania IT is responsible for delivering .NET products to secure daily business operation and accelerate business development for O2D business.

Industrial Control IT is a small team , highly skilled and committed with considerable job satisfaction and good opportunities for personal development. We are constantly striving to improve both systems and work processes.

The team consist of Maintenance Manager, Developers and Tester that are responsible for complete deliveries to our customers and users. The team is involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and maintenance. We are aiming for self-supporting teams with focus on quality assurance. We have an agile way of working and support different applications built in .NET mostly for Industrial Control, Production and Logistic. We are looking for a System Analyst with a significate interest in development and agile working methods.

Your role
We can offer you a role as a member of a development team where you will be working with business demands, system requirements, and functional requirements to create new solutions and improve existing solutions. Your main responsibilities will include translating and documenting business demands into functional design documents for developers and tester. You will work closely with product and process owners to create and refine short and long term roadmaps. You are a speaking partner to the customer/business and have an agile approach to work with technical requirements.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT and experience in one of our business areas.
We also think you have the following:
.experience in requirement gathering and documentation
.used to lead yourself and others
.good analytical skills and the ability to see the bigger picture without losing focus on details
.experience in working with Enterprise Architect
.experience in .NET
.good in planning, both short term and long term
We expect applicants to be organised, have excellent problem-solving skills and a service-minded approach. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. You are happy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently. As the corporate language is English, the position requires the ability to speak, write and understand English at a high level.
