Nacka kommun needs a UX person!

Digitization is high on the agenda in Nacka kommun! We need a UX person!
The IT-department (soon to be the Digitization department) is a team of mixed specialists in the digitization/IT field. We work closely with the municipality's different businesses, citizens and contractors to find solutions to efficiently and effectively deliver service to our citizens and companies within the municipality.

In May we are publishing our new service based web platform which will deliver service to both citizens and coworkers. To make sure that each and everyone of our digital services reaches, delivers quality and are understood by the user we are now looking to complement our team with a specialist on user experience for a 2 year project employment.

Role and responsibilities

The mission for the UX person is to work with the rest of the development team (contractor, IT, Communications, Customer service and the municipalities businesses) to make sure that the user experience is always in focus, whether the user is a citizen och an employee. We will look to this person for guidance and solutions so that we can deliver the best user driven designs possible for all our services.

Qualifications and experience

To be able to lead us all on the right path when it comes to user experience you need to know the following:

•Design: You design usable, modern an appealing form for the Web and mobile usage.

•Concept and interaction: You can create visualizations of the user experience from a functional perspective with sketches, wire frames, flowcharts and prototypes.

•Usability: Your intuition and knowledge of usability and cognition will warranty that we guide the user to a satisfactory result.

•Method: You constantly contribute to the team as a whole and make sure both methods and the results develop over time.

And have/bring the following:

• Experience as a consultant, either from a bureau or as a freelance and you are used to work with clients who are serious about the web.

• You are a bit of a nerd (like the rest of us) and follow the development in our field closely.

• You want to be a part of creating a web that brings meaning and is the center of attention for the whole municipality.

• You love to cooperate with others, make things happen and make sure that Nacka becomes the best municipality when it comes to delivering digital services.

We work in open and modern facilities in the city hall of Nacka.
