Integration Engineer

NYX is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our Open Gaming System (OGS) team. NYX OGS is a rapidly expanding casino aggregation service that provides gaming operators access to a wide range of content from different game providers. The OGS Integration team currently consists of five people located in Stockholm. The successful candidate will report to the Director of OGS, located in Stockholm.

As an Integration Engineer you will be part of the integrations and deployment team, focusing on getting new customers and game providers up and running. This will involve working directly with our customer integrations teams, answering their technical questions, ensuring the quality of the integration whist driving a quick time to market. You will also be performing configuration and application deployments, as well as improving and maintaining the existing OGS system.

You are a hands-on problem solver who is passionate about technology and enjoys close cooperation with our customers and partners when helping their engineers integrate with OGS. You have knowledge of Linux, networking, application and infrastructure configuration, as well as some software development (Python, PHP, Bash or other scripting languages). You also have great communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and have at least 2 years work experience within the relevant area.

Must haves include:
- Substantial experience working in a Unix/Linux environment including system setup and configuration
- Some experience working with databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Technical know-how on client-server models and working with customer facing API?s
- Ability to self manage tasks and effectually communicate progress
- Strong communication skills with proven experience dealing with customers in a technical role
- Ability to express yourself in English, both in writing and speech

The awe factor:
- Some knowledge of Python/PHP/Java
- Experience in the Online Gaming industry especially regulated markets
- Project Management experience
- Academic degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent work experience
