Java Developer / Engineer for Clearing systems

Nasdaq's Clearing development team is now looking for a Senior Java Developer / Engineer to join us in the Stockholm office. Located in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, our spacious and open plan factory-style campus houses 700 of Nasdaq?s IT talent across many areas such as engineering, architects, development, infrastructure and testers.

Nasdaq is the world's largest exchange solution company providing top of the line trading and clearing technology with more than 3,500 listed companies. Our Genium INET trading platform is a state of the art trading solution used to power markets in the Nordics as well as several other big markets around the world, for example Singapore Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Ltd.

You will be part of a team that develops and maintains the functionality within Clearing area within Genium INET. The system has high requirements on performance and reliability and you are guaranteed to be challenged to use your analytical and innovative capabilities.
You will work closely with business analysts, testers and other developers to deliver solutions to our own clearinghouse and customers around the world.
Using Java technology you will design and implement the solutions on a Linux platform.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

Education Required: Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Experience Required: 8 to 10 years.
Special Qualifications: Thorough knowledge and experience in Java, and one or more operating system, such as Windows, Linux/Unix, etc.
Previous experience of the financial system is highly qualifying.
Previous experience of agile working methods is a merit.
