IT and Data Management support

Pharmetheus was founded in Uppsala in 2012 and provides consultancy services to support drug development decisions. Our core business is to assist global pharmaceutical companies within silico pharmacometric models improving drug development efficiency. Additionally, we offer strategic and technical advice to our clients. We have world-leading expertise and the demand for our services is growing among large global pharmaceutical companies but also among smaller biotech companies. Pharmetheus is expanding and tripled its turnaround during its first three years in business. At the same time, the staff doubled and today we are 15 employees with further recruitments in the pipeline. We are looking for someone who can take on the position as IT and Data Management support. The position is full-time but we are flexible in terms of the right candidate?s availability. Thus, students in the end of their education are also encouraged to apply. You will be working together with our IT and Data Manager and take on some of his responsibilities. To be a good candidate for this position, you should have a university degree in computer science, engineering, or similar and have experience in working with data management and administration in a Linux environment. Ideally, you are used to programming and providing IT-support and have experience with R and LaTeX. Also, it is important that you are adaptable and learn quickly. We expect that you have good communication and English skills and we will be looking for flexibility, commitment to your work, and a strong sense of responsibility. It is of course important that you are comfortable working closely with your colleagues but you must also be able to work independently.
