As a full-stack developer, you will work with everything from front-end HTML, CSS and JS to server-side Java, Python and/or Node. You will touch several different data stores including Relational Databases and NoSQL datastores. This role will give you the opportunity to learn from co-workers and mentor junior developers.
You will be working with our Stockholm team focused on our Real Money Gaming platform. That team will be working on projects ranging from HTML5-based client libraries to traditional Java based server development (JAX-RS, Spring, Hibernate), and newer polyglot micro-services running on a reactive Kubernetes-based architecture. You will get to move between various systems and get to work on new and exciting technologies.
You will get to work with:
•Full Java stack development (Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Hibernate, JAX-RS)
•Front end development (HTML5 Canvas, JavaScript, TypeScript)
•Polyglot stack (Node, Python)
•Build tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gulp)
•Configuration Management tools (Puppet, Chef)
•Hosting (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, VMWare)
•Platform as a Service (Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, CoreOS
Din bakgrund
BA/BS degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of relevant experience
•Experience with back-end and preferably also front-end systems
•Current web application development libraries (e.g. jquery, bootstrap, react, backbone)
•Working with web services (REST and older web services)
•Experience in two or more of Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, and Unix scripting
•Demonstrated OO design experience, with a good understanding of SOLID principles
•Experience working with distributed agile technical and non-technical groups
•Work evenings and weekends from time to time
