Senior Developer with Architect aspirations

The H&M online store are growing rapidly both in terms of sales volume and functions. We are constantly working to ensure our customers have the best experience when they use the site, regardless of what touch point they use. To one of our development teams we are looking for a Senior Developer that have the will and capability to over time move over into an architectural role.

You will work with developing our online webshop and do that in a team of several developers and testers. Current team are both located in Stockholm and in Bangalore, India. You will have a key role and we see you as being a lead developer and a person that will be involved in architectural discussions. As we see the need for architectural skills to increase, we want you to, over time, be more and more involved in the architectural work and also to evolve into an IT Architect. We are looking for you who have several years of experience of developing e-commerce or large web solutions.

Your responsibilities

The job of a Senior Developer comes with lots of responsibility - and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:

- Agile Java development within our area to creatively implement solutions
- Estimation and planning in collaboration with Requirement Analyst and Test
- Having close dialog with team and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other teams
- Support Team Leaders in developing the team and direction for development
- Contribute in architectural questions

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. And your skills include:

- Agile development methods
- Java
- Modern JavaScript frameworks (i.e Angular JS)
- GIT and SVN
- TDD
- Windows
- Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also a merit if you have previous experience/knowledge in following methods and tools:
- Hybris, Puppet, Nolio, Teamcity
- Sonar, React JS, Rest

It is an extra plus if you have experience of working with external vendors of IT services, managed service and/or offshore situations.
