At Hotswap you get the chance to work on projects ranging from working near the hardware and electronics of a sophisticated medical device to clean software project that aims to develop mobile applications and other medtech-related software.

As a developer in medical technology, you are expected to write structured code that keeps high quality as many of our projects are in accordance with IEC 62304. This means careful documentation and extensive code review. We are looking for team players who get energy to help and support their colleagues and are attracted to work in multidisciplinary teams in which engineers of different skills mix.

You must have the following background:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• At least 2 years experience in software development
• Good command of all or any of the following programming languages: C, C ++, C #, Java
• Have worked with Linux on the device driver level •
• Worked with tools and frameworks that JMaven, JUnit, Maven, Git, JQuery, Qt, .NET Compact Framework
• Have experience in software lifecycle management with tools such as HP ALM
• Live and breathe the Agile Manifesto and held various roles in a Scrum team
• Have good speech and reading comprehension in both Swedish and English

We are technical consultants who have helped entrepreneurs to take their idea to a first CE-marked product and also work on site at established companies in the industry. We are about 100 engineers with offices in Stockholm, Jönköping and Lubeck, Germany
