The Regression System Engineer is globally responsible for regression test services within the Modem organization. We are looking for a Test Development Engineer to work with test case design, test environment configuration, maintenance as well as implementation for Modems automated regression test system. The work is done in close collaboration with other test organizations and the Test Tools organization. As a System Engineer, you will be involved in development of regression test strategies for the product releases and review and enhance test scripts and automation test environments in preparation for different Product releases. Support test planning based on analysis of requirements and design documents. Execute systems, regression, and quality testing to ensure all development deliverables are ready to be used in the day-to-day work. Multi-task between current releases, installation activities, and prioritize tasks for next release. Monitor and resolve testing issues. Trouble-shoot the test system issues. May act as technical resource to other testers. May direct and drive initiatives The work is mostly performed in lab environment, which means you will use instruments such as base station simulators and our internal mobile network in the work.

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer

You must have a Bachelor degree or higher in Electronic or Computer Science with minimum 5 years experience. Experienced with the system integration and managing the quality of released products through regression testing. Key skills include experience in telecom technologies like GSM, WCDMA and LTE, system testing, regression testing, maintenance of integration and automated frameworks. Excellent communication skills are of importance. Good written English and able to cope under pressure with a smile. Knowledge in C, Python or similar programming language is required. Also some knowledge in CM tools like Rational Clear Case or similar. General skills requirements On top of the technical skills, you should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. You should also have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team, as well as having a proven capability to pursue creative solutions. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.
