Beneath a seamless, simple experience lies tons of functionality and hundreds of microservices where engineering teams deliver features on a daily basis.

This is a hands-on lead role based in Stockholm reporting to the Klarna Checkout Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

Define strategy and roadmap for testing across several development teams together with the testers in each team

Influence product and engineering design and decisions

Lead and mentor more junior test engineers
Play a key role in our Agile development teams, being responsible for developing built-in test approaches, solving challenging testing problems and developing automation frameworks that enable our teams to deliver high quality software at speed.

You have. . .

At least 5 years experience working as a hands-on technical engineer with expert knowledge in test engineering, context-driven testing, automation, agile methodology (pairing, TDD, BDD) and continuous delivery practices

Experience with both automation and manual testing
Broad experience and troubleshooting skills in a range of technical environments

Solid coding background in Java, Erlang, Ruby, Python, C++ or similar

Highly analytical and data driven

Great communication skills
