Back-end dev for marketing science startup in Stockholm

Join an amazing team consisting of data science geeks and developers in the heart of Stockholm. Together we are creating a kick-ass solution within retail data science. We are using some of the latest thinking within Bayesian statistics to optimize our customers’ retail promotions. We want a great, fun-to-work-with– back-end–expert to join us on a fantastic journey ahead!

You will have big role in a fantastic (small, 5) team and work closely with our solutions architect and the data science guys. You will build back-end in the system, create database structures, share and implement ideas to scale the business using restfulAPIs. 

We want you to have 3+ years of working as a developer. Preferably with:

• Python (Django)
• PostgreSQL
• RESTful API  

A plus if you have experience with working with large data sets and financial data. Also a plus if you have experience working with Docker and frameworks such as openCPU. 

Formulate is a marketing science start-up that helps retailers to measure the real profitability of every single promotion – how to identify optimal promotions for individual products and understand what drives campaign performance.
