Fingerprint Cards (FPC) is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packages, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices. The company is growing in order to meet the demands from our customers and to expand the usage of our sensor products.

Our Software Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer in order to strengthen our PC integration team. The PC team is responsible for developing device drivers and integrating biometric sensors on different Windows based platforms. This includes kernel mode drivers, user mode drivers, UEFI applications, We work in close cooperation with our customers and partners in all different design phases.

The role

You will be responsible for developing drivers and other software for FPC sensors on different types of Windows based platforms. This includes SPI communication, Windows Biometric Framework, Windows Hello, USB and more. You will work closely together with our Android and Algorithm teams, as well as with customers and partners. You will have the opportunity to work in small teams, and are expected to be self-going and handle tasks on your own when needed for example with hardware bring-up, and helping customers with integration and support.

The work location will be either Göteborg or Malmö.

Your background

You hold a university degree or equivalent within software development and have 5+ working experience in the area of Windows drivers, driver debugging, WinApi, services and applications. You are an experienced C developer with a good understanding of modern OS internals. We also appreciate knowledge in low level Android/Linux development, hardware bring-up, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, cryptography and data security concerns.

We expect you to embrace new technology, possess good analytical skills and have the ability to generate creative and well-structured solutions. You should appreciate driving assignments independently as well as in a team. Knowledge sharing is part of the job and good teamwork ethic is a necessity.
