.NET Developer for Scania IT

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from being a traditional truck manufacturer to becoming a provider of complete transport solutions. Our success requires smart IT solutions due to all the digitization taking place. As a result, Scania IT will be an important player in this change process. We are looking for a .NET Developer with significant interest in .NET development and agile working methods.

Your role
We can offer you a role as a member of a development team where you will be working with system requirements, testing and release management with a principal focus on development deliverables- with focus on providing a CO2 declaration. CO2 Certification Declaration is a future legislative requirement in the European Commission.You will adopt an agile approach to work, with technical variation and customer/business contact at a company with a good working environment. Business development, with a focus on quality, lean principles and continual improvement initiatives, are three distinctive features of Scania.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience. You will either have several years' experience working with system development, or be a recent graduate with a significant interest in IT, and in learning several programming languages and tools.
We also think you have:
.Knowledge of and an interest in building reusable and modular IT solutions
.Good knowledge of .NET and Microsoft-like products (e.g.C#, MVC)
.The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify and improve
.Good knowledge of JavaScript and AngularJS
.An ability to establish good customer contacts
.Knowledge or experience of agile teams that worked with SCRUM or KANBAN
.Integration knowledge A2A and B2B
We expect applicants to be curious, have excellent problem-solving skills and to have a genuine interest in developing in the role as system developer. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. You are a team player, but are also capable of working independently. As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
